Family ambassador

No family wants to have to go through the ordeal of illness, but that’s what happened to ours. When the diagnosis of Wilms tumor was announced, it was a shock for us to learn that Robin had cancer. The welcome from our Leucan advisor reassured us: “You are now part of the Leucan family. » Leucan was able to support us through its listening, its financial assistance and its activities for the whole family. For a moment, we could forget the dark side of the picture. Leucan brought joy and comfort to our family. We encourage everyone to register for the Leucan Ski Challenge so that other families, like ours, benefit from the same support. Donate here

Kim Lewis, Leadership and Change Management Consultant -- Kim Lewis is a professional mom with a passion for wellness. A consultant in leadership development, change management and customer experience optimization, her passion is to help individuals and companies evolve for sustainable growth. Formerly in charge of philanthropic development projects at Leucan, Kim would go down memory lane every year when she saw the Leucan Ski Challenge held in Bromont. This job at Leucan was a significant step in her career and shaped her vision of work and commitment. This year, she has decided to renew her association with Leucan and become an ambassador for the event. She is determined to support the team in achieving its financial objectives, to recruit corporate participants and to share her ideas and solutions. What touches her deeply is the opportunity to rub shoulders with inspiring entrepreneurs, courageous Leucan parents and dedicated volunteers.

Marc-Olivier Prévost, President of Altar Construction -- Leucan's mission and support for all those around us make it a must. We often forget the extent to which cancer can affect loved ones and those around them. As the father and president of Altar Construction, I'm proud to be able to contribute to this cause! We are privileged partners who, throughout the year, try to make a difference for this cause that is so close to our hearts. Together, let's bring support and comfort to the families affected by this disease, and let's fight this enemy. Make a donation

Mélanie Chouinard, Vice President Human Capital and Customer Service at NMedia -- 17 years ago, on January 27, 2008, the world stopped turning for my family, friends and loved ones when my eldest daughter, Alixe, then aged 5, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. From the very first days, Leucan was by our side to help us find hope and beauty in what was the worst period of our lives. In 2008, friends and family asked us to raise money for Leucan by taking part in the Leucan Ski Challenge. Every year since, we've offered our time to help with the logistics of this rallying challenge. For this 20th edition of the event, Leucan offered me the privilege of taking on the role of ambassador for the Leucan Ski Challenge. Today, Alixe is cured. Our family has regained the sweetness and pleasure of a normal life. Make a donation

Rosemarie Boulanger, Human Development Coordinator at Tootelo -- A proud participant since 2015, the Leucan team quickly charmed me with their incredible work throughout the events. There's nothing more reassuring than feeling well surrounded, knowing that someone is there to take care of you. Obviously, I wasn't the one fighting for my health, but the team showed me what they were capable of. In my second year as an ambassador, I'm just as confident that together, we can have a positive impact on the lives of many. Whether it's helping with research, supporting families or simply spreading the word about Leucan, every little gesture counts. Make a donation

Sarah-Claude Beauregard - Coordinator, Claims, Rehabilitation, Humania Assurance -- Mother of 3, participant in the Défi ski as team leader for the past 3 years, passionate about sports, especially snowboarding, I'm getting involved as an ambassador this year, to support the cause in a different way. It's with a heart full of hope for all the warriors and their families that I'll have the chance to take part in the Ski Challenge and make a real difference. It's with a dedicated team from different backgrounds but united in a common goal that we'll rally to support a cause that's so important to me. It will also be a great way to harmonize the pleasure of sharing a moment surrounded by my Humania team at a sporting event. Make a donation

Valérie Labbé, medical student at the Université de Sherbrooke -- My name is Valérie, I'm a medical student at the Université de Sherbrooke and I'm getting involved as a university ambassador for the Leucan Ski Challenge to support an essential cause: helping families affected by pediatric cancer. I've been an avid skier ever since I was a child, and I'm convinced of the importance of solidarity and community involvement. I see this event as a golden opportunity to mobilize university students to get involved in a meaningful project, while having a great time at the same time. For me, the Leucan Ski Challenge is a concrete way of making a difference, where each run symbolizes another step towards support and hope!
