About the Challenge

The Leucan Ski Challenge, co-presented by Fenplast and Thaïzone, means hours of skiing, snowboarding or alpine skiing on several mountains in Quebec, in support of children with cancer and their families. It’s a fun, family-friendly activity for people of all ages, experts and amateurs alike.

To participate, it’s simple: choose one of the 6 mountains and choose the challenge that suits best.  

The Leucan Ski Challenge takes place in five different regions, on six mountains:

  • Abitibi-Témiscamingue : Mont-Vidéo
  • Estrie : Bromont, montagne d’expériences
  • Québec : Station touristique Stoneham
  • Québec : Station récréotouristique du Mont Adstock
  • Mauricie-et-Centre-du-Québec : Vallée du Parc
  • Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean : Le Valinouët

Solo challenge 

Individuals can take on the Leucan Ski Challenge on their own.Each solo participant must raise at least $200 in donations.Participants are encouraged to complete a cumulative number of runs equivalent to one run per hour per participant. 

Regular Challenge 

A team of 2 to 4 people must raise a minimum of $600 in donations, with an additional $150 per extra participant. Feel free to set a higher fundraising goal to match your ambitions! Each team is invited to complete a cumulative number of runs equivalent to one run per hour per participant. 

Corporate Challenge 

A corporate option is now available, making it the perfect teambuilding activity! 

Teams of up to 8 participants must raise $2,600 in donations, with an additional $325 required for each additional team member. You’re free to set a higher fundraising goal that matches your ambitions!Each team will need to complete a cumulative number of runs equivalent to one run per participant per hour. 

On the day of the Challenge, head to your chosen mountain to ski down the slopes all day long and enjoy some exciting winter activities!

LEUCAN

For 45 years, Leucan has been committed to helping cancer-stricken children and their families. In addition to its support to clinical research, the Association provides specific and personalized services to its families: emotional assistance and support, financial assistance, referral services, massage therapy, hosting and support in hospital’s playrooms, sociorecreational activities, an awareness and assistance program in school, end-of-life and bereavement follow-up, as well as the Leucan Information Centre.
