Honorary presidents

Léo Emond, independent representative and financial security advisor, SFL Asset Management. Leucan is a cause that touches me deeply. As a father, I appreciate the chance of having healthy children, but families around me live a different reality, one of them being affected by a child's leukemia. Leucan supports children with cancer and their families at every stage, while contributing to clinical research to beat this disease. This year, as honorary president of the Leucan Ski Challenge at Mont Adstock, I am honored to be fully committed to this cause. My role is to represent this initiative and encourage regional mobilization for this essential fundraising. Solidarity, integrity and compassion are values that guide me every day. Together we can make a real difference and deliver a cancer-free future for our children. I invite you to participate and make the Leucan Ski Challenge an unforgettable event. Donate here

Katherine Leclair, remedial teacher and owner, Clinique ORpair & Clinique Oratio As a mother of two young children and a committed entrepreneur, my role as honorary president of Leucan is particularly close to my heart. Every day, I realize the importance of taking care of those we love and giving them a future full of hope and support. My values of listening, mutual aid and commitment accompany me in my daily actions at Clinique ORpair and at Oratio, where we support families, children and adults. I would like to expand this commitment to support an essential cause: that of children with cancer and their families. Contributing to Leucan's mission is an opportunity to mobilize our collective efforts to provide concrete support and make a real difference in the lives of these children and their loved ones. Family ambassador

Our son Mike was diagnosed at 2 years old with an optic pathway glioma. After 70 weeks, he was able to ring the end-of-treatment bell in May 2022, a moment he was looking forward to. The treatments had incredible results: the masses on the optic nerves completely disappeared and Mike is now full of life and in good health. Leucan’s support has been invaluable throughout this journey. From the moment we met the Leucan team, we were touched by the little touches and surprises for Mike. Leucan was there for us with activities, financial support and moments of respite. The respite weekend in Duchesnay in 2021 was particularly memorable, allowing us to recharge our batteries. Thanks to Leucan, we were able to go through this ordeal with more serenity. Your participation makes a real difference for families like ours, thank you for your generosity. Donate here
