What is the Leucan Ski Challenge? It’s hours of ski or snowboarding and several activities, but more specifically it’s a gesture of solidarity towards cancer-stricken children and their families. It’s also a fun, participative and family-oriented opened to people of all ages.
Participating is easy: gather a team of one to four and collect a minimum of $500 in donations for Leucan to take part in the participatory Challenge. A corporate, more competitive Challenge is available in certain regions. Read the Rules to find out all the details.
Each team member must go down the slopes at least once every hour over the course of the event. Children of under 16 can join by going down six times, once every hour.
The Leucan Ski Challenge will be taking place in five different regions on five mountains:
- Abitibi-Témiscamingue: Mont-Vidéo
- Estrie: Bromont, montagne d’expériences
- Québec: Station touristique Stoneham
- Mauricie-et-Centre-du-Québec: Vallée du Parc
- Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean: Mont Lac-Vert
