Six mountains for the 2010 Leucan 12-Hour Ski Challenge
More than $460,000 in donations for children with cancer!
Thank you to the 1,640 skiers and snowboarders.
Leucan and Éric Salvail, the event’s Provincial Spokesperson, thank you for the fifth edition of Leucan 12-Hour Ski Challenge. This friendly fundraising activity accessible to skiers and snowboarders of all ages was held in six Quebec ski stations! In teams of four the participants must raise a minimum of $400 in donations for Leucan. Each team member must make a minimum of one descent per hour, for 12 consecutive hours (from noon to midnight).
Six mountains were event partners in 2010:
- Ski Bromont in Montérégie - March 20
- Chantecler in the Laurentians - March 13
- Stoneham Mountain Resort in Quebec - March 13
- Mont Cascades in Outaouais - March 13
- Mont Lac-Vert in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean - March 13
- Mont-Vidéo in Abitibi-Témiscamingue - March 13
Our participants’ hard work will help Leucan bring much needed support and comfort to children with cancer and their families. Thank you so much to all of them!
Hoping to see you in 2011.
